What is High-Functioning Survival Mode™?

High-Functioning Survival Mode™ (HFSM) is a nervous system state where you maintain external success while internally running on survival. You're working, leading, and showing up, but you're doing it through performance, masking, and earning your safety rather than from alignment. It often looks like exhaustion that rest doesn't fix, a life that looks good on paper but feels misaligned, and a deep knowing that something is off.

HFSM highlights a pattern rooted in how your nervous system learned to keep you safe. And it's the pattern that eventually leads to burnout, especially for high-achieving, high-masking, and neurodivergent women.

I developed the High-Functioning Survival Mode™ Framework at the intersection of autistic burnout and complex trauma, and I'm currently studying it formally across 29 countries.

The cohort is a shared container for women in high-functioning survival mode who want to move toward alignment in community. You’re ready to exit old identities, reconnect to truth, and move forward with other women navigating the in-between.

PRIVATE SUPPORT

You're in High-Functioning Survival Mode and need individualized guidance.

Life looks fine on paper. You can work, think, and show up, but you’re exhausted, disconnected, and stuck in a life that no longer feels aligned. You’re not in crisis, but you know something needs to change, and you want individualized, high-touch support.

BURNOUT RECOVERY

Your nervous system is in burnout or shutdown.

You’re high-masking (often autistic or have ADHD), deeply burnt out, and pushing through is no longer possible. Life feels overwhelming, and rest isn’t helping. Your nervous system needs stabilization before any deeper work can happen.

Who's Behind This Work

I'm Samantha-Rae (Dr. Sam), an intuitive strategist, researcher, and the creator of the Soul Activation Model™ and High-Functioning Survival Mode™ Framework.

For over 15 years, I designed human-centered systems for Fortune 500 companies while building a multi-six-figure consulting firm. I hold four degrees, including a doctorate and a Master of Science in Public Health. My work has been featured in Forbes and Fortune. After navigating my own autistic burnout and exit from High-Functioning Survival Mode™, I developed the frameworks that now guide the work of my practice, helping high-achieving, high-masking women stop performing their way through survival and start living from alignment.
