My Story
Hi I’m Dr. Sam!
As a high-achieving, high-masking neurodivergent woman, I have always excelled professionally and personally. With four degrees, including a doctorate, Fortune 500 consulting experience, and a multi-six-figure business, I had built a life that looked successful—but I was living in High-Functioning Survival Mode. After years of performing, overworking, and proving my worth through achievement, I burned out. Twice. The second time, I made a different choice. I fully paused. I rested. I let go of the performance. Resting allowed me to redefine my relationship to work, to myself, and to my life. realized what true alignment actually looks like outside of the traditional markers of success. That pause also created space for my intuitive and ancestral gifts to strengthen. It's when I developed the Soul Activation Model™—the foundation of my entire practice and the work I do with other high-achieving, high-masking women. Now I guide women through the same transformation: exiting High-Functioning Survival Mode and rebuilding from soul-led alignment.

High-Functioning Survival Mode Framework™
High-Functioning Survival Mode is a nervous system state in which a person maintains external functionality while internally operating from hypervigilance, over-functioning, and survival-based coping. Your life can look successful and still feel misaligned.
I developed the High-Functioning Survival Mode Framework™ at the intersection of two lived experiences: autistic burnout and chronic survival mode shaped by complex trauma.
Autistic burnout is a specific type of burnout that results from prolonged masking, sensory overload, and navigating a world not designed for neurodivergent nervous systems.
The bridge between autistic burnout and general survival mode is the nervous system itself. Both involve Complex PTSD responses and long-term dysregulation, even when the external causes differ.
Soul Activation™ Model
The Soul Activation Model™ emerged during my 19-month sabbatical as the pathway out of High-Functioning Survival Mode. It's a nervous-system-based framework that guides the transition from survival-mode functioning to soul-led alignment through unlearning, stabilization, and reconnection to your internal power.
This work integrates:
Nervous system science and trauma-informed practices Neurodivergent-affirming approaches
Intersectional understanding of how systemic oppression impacts nervous system regulation
Spiritual transformation and ancestral wisdom
Systems thinking and strategic implementation.
